# Creality CR-10
The Creality CR-10 uses FDM technology to 3D print objects.

The CR-10 can print many materials. If your material is not on this list, you can ask one of the DiFaLab employees.
## Printing with the CR-10
### Preparing a file
1. Save your model as a .stl file.
2. Download and install [Cura](https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura).
3. Inside Cura, load your file by clicking `File > Open` in the menu bar or clicking the folder icon in the top left. Select your .stl file.
4. Make sure the selected printer is the Creality CR-10 and the material is set correctly.
5. For the easiest setup, select a profile in the Print Settings menu. For more advanced settings, click the hamburger button and select Basic, Advanced, or Expert. This will show or hide certain options in the Print Settings menu.
6. Click the Slice button in the bottom right of the screen.
7. Click Preview. Any overhangs will be displayed in red on the model. Switch back to the Prepare view at the top of the screen and adjust the print settings before re-slicing until the red parts are gone or acceptable.
8. Click Save to File and store the file on a microSD card.
9. Insert the microSD card into the printer.
