2. Download and install [Cura](https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura).
3. Inside Cura, load your file by clicking `File > Open` in the menu bar or clicking the folder icon in the top left. Select your .stl file.
4. Make sure the selected printer is the Ultimaker 2+ and the material is set correctly.
5. For the easiest setup, select a profile in the Print Settings menu. For more advanced settings, click the hamburger button and select Basic, Advanced, or Expert. This will show or hide certain options in the Print Settings menu.
6. Click the Slice button in the bottom right of the screen.
7. Click Preview. Any overhangs will be displayed in red on the model. Switch back to the Prepare view at the top of the screen and adjust the print settings before reslicing until the red parts are gone or acceptable.
8. Click Save to File and store the file on an SD card.
9. Insert the SD card into the printer.
### Starting a print
1. Turn on the Ultimaker 2+.
2. Make sure the print bed is clean and level. If not, see [Leveling the print bed](#Leveling-the-print-bed).
3. Using the wheel, select Print.
4. Select your prepared file from the list.
5. The printer will start
## Maintenance and Troubleshooting
### First layer fails
Check the bed levelling and make sure the glass plate is clean. Clear the nozzle if needed and check the material flow.
