We hope you enjoyed meeting your groups today, and working on the Ice Classic. Here are a few updates before the weekend:

  • The Programming Assignment for next week is available for download at the following link. Remember your goal each week is to finish it before the Friday session. Note that if you struggle with the Python concepts you should come to question hours on Tuesday! Download notebook here: mude.citg.tudelft.nl/2024/files/Week_1_2/
  • The book chapter for next week is ready! Chapter 2: Propagation of Uncertainty
  • The solution from the Group Assignment today is posted in the MUDE files page: mude.citg.tudelft.nl/2024/files/Week_1_1/
  • The BuddyCheck has been released. You can access it 2 ways: 1) click on the link you got in your email or 2) go to “Course Information” on the Brightspace page to find the Buddycheck. We will give you more information about BuddyCheck and how the results will be used next week.
  • Files from the Wednesday workshop are available for viewing in the Week 1.1 folder of the MUDE Files page and available for download at gitlab.tudelft.nl/mude/2024-week-1-1 (click blue “Code” button, then download this repository as “zip”; unzip the files in your working directory).

A few other things to know about for now:

  • The lecture slides have been posted to the module website here: mude.citg.tudelft.nl/2024/files/Week_1_1/
  • The Collegerama Recording of lecture is available here
  • Visit the this website and start getting familiar with course policies!
  • Read the book chapters for this week! (use link in top right)
  • You can also get a head start for tomorrow by installing Miniconda and VS Code (see book chapters)

Keep an eye on Brightspace: sometime tomorrow morning we will update you with your group number and give you the room where you should attend the in-class session.
