wrong openssl command for creating Apache SSL certificate
In the wiki, the following openssl
command is suggested:
openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:4096 -keyout <server_domain>.key -out <server_domain>.csr -nodes
I have tried that and ICT reported (not sure if you have access to this issue) that the resulting CSR files are not valid Base-64 data. They suggested following this guide, which recommends the following command instead:
openssl req -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -keyout <server_domain>.key -out <server_domain>.csr
They were able to create the certificate with the resulting CSR file.
