Feedback
Hello Gary,
I have some feedback on notebook 1-3:
Notebook 1:
Total time: 35 min (mainly because of the large amount of reading required)
Comments:
Exercise 1.3
“As you can see in notebooks that the location of your code doesn’t matter, but the order in which you execute them does!!” à This is only true for notebooks, in normal python code it is important to allocate the value to the variable before accessing it.
Section 1.3:
Maybe suggest commenting the sleep command after trying it, because if you execute the entire notebook is will be stuck at the sleep command for 10 min.
Section 1.4:
Because we have restarted the kernel all variables have lost. Maybe make a new variable before running the ‘#whos’ command.
Exercise 1.5:
The variable ‘g’ is already set to False if you load the notebook. However, blow the if statement you suggest. changing the value of g to False. But it is already.
“You can try changing the value of g
above to False
and see what happens if you run the above code cell again.”
Notebook 2
Total time: 25 minutes
Exercise 2.4:
I used tuples and index to get the desired result. However, those topics have not been addressed.
Exercise 2.5: The is a TODO for Gary
Notebook 3
Total time: 23
Exercise 3.5: The given solution could be shorter. Please look at my solution
I will try and make the other notebooks and assignments tomorrow.
I have done a minor computer science win which we did programming in Python so I think my programming level is 'Advanced'
