When a program has finished, the machine stops automatically.
To release your knitting wear from the machine, just engage the red lever again. The carriage will start moving again, and after 3 times [need to check this] back and forth travel, the door at the bottom will pivot forward (and a distinctive sound of the release can be heard). At this point, the bottom door can be opened and the knitted wear taken out.
